Easter Chick Cupcakes

Happy Easter 2012! Today I made cupcakes, again found on Pinterest but this time my mom found them. I made vanilla cupcakes with homemade buttercream icing. The cupcakes had a hint of orange flavoring. After icing all of the cupcakes I rubbed them all into a bowl of yellow sprinkles. I dyed some of the icing and used it to make a beak, wings, and feet. On some of the chicks I added some hair at the top. Mini chocolate chips were a great addition for eyes. I definitely did them a little differently than what we found on Pinterest, but only because I ran out of yellow sprinkles, Haha. The nephews thought they turned out GREAT and enjoyed them.
